Why do we want such procedures? The answer - to stop us looking older!! Wrinkles are a normal part of the ageing process. With age, the skin cells divide more slowly, and the skin's inner layer, called the dermis, begins to thin. This in turn starts to undo the skin's elasticity and youthful structure. As our skin starts to age it also loses its ability to hold on to moisture, makes less oil, and is slower to heal, all of which contributes to the overall wrinkling process.
Whether it be needles or chemical peels, our nurses are experienced and qualified in the art of aesthetics. For each of our treatments, you will be required to have a consultation with one of our friendly nurses to decide whether or not this treatment is for you, you can also discuss your expectations and your concerns.
Botox is used to temporarily paralyse the muscles that cause us to frown and squint. Lasting anywhere between 3 - 6 months, this popular treatment is now a 'lunch time' procedure, only taking 20 - 30 minutes to administer. Please call us for a non-obligation consultation.
This treatment is carried out by our fully insured Nurse, Adele who has been doing injectables for 6 years.
There is a surcharge of £50 for men as they have stronger facial muscles.
20 - 30 minutes
Dermal fillers are used to plump out lines, folds and creases as well as lip and cheek augmentation. We use Teosyal, Juvederm and Bolstering which lasts between 6-12 months. Ask Adele for a free consultation!
We use a natural type of dermal filler; these are called hyaluronic acid or HA fillers. Hyaluronic Acid can be found naturally in our bodies. It is used as connective tissue and contains both collagen and elastin. When used, these HA fillers adds volume to the skin giving a much smoother and rounded appearance to the patient.
As we begin to age, the amount of hyaluronic acids in the body diminishes. As a result the skin can lose volume which causes wrinkles to form around the mouth as well as indents below the eyes and cheekbones.
The dermal fillers used by Little Beau Chic are biosynthetic which means that it will slowly break down and be absorbed by your body.
This treatment is carried out by our registered nurse Adele.
Fibroblast Skin Tightening
A Fibroblast is an electrical arc that is transmitted or ‘sent’ through a small probe; the probe does not penetrate or touch the skin. The arc causes superficial damage to the upper dermal layer of the skin and transmits heat to the lower levels of the skin. This causes the new skin to generate collagen and elastin fibres which we can lose as we age.
Unlike ever before we are now able to offer a non-invasive treatment to improve the appearance of ageing skin.
The benefits of this treatment are:
- treats all facial areas
- no cutting or stitches
- fraction of the cost of cosmetic surgery instant, long lasting results lasting up to three years
- result is immediately visible
- no bleeding
- no preparation
Mole, Wart and Skin Tag Removal
Our registered nurse Adele is now doing mole, wart and skin tag removal! This is for a half an hour slot and means as many can be removed in this time frame.
Moles have to have been checked with the doctor to make sure they're safe to be removed and havent got anything wrong with them e.g. cancer.
At Little Beau Chic, we use a number of different skin peels to suit your requirements.. The most common concern is ageing. We use a peel developed especially for medical professional use called Agera Rx.
Medical grade chemical peels not only offer a deep exfoliation, they also stimulate the production of new collagen, fibroblasts and elastin which improve the quality and texture of the surface skin cells. On older skins chemical peels can reduce the visible signs of ageing caused by genetics and the environment, whilst in younger skins they can help reduce pore size, improve skin texture and treat acne.
The revolutionary peels created by Agera Rx are non-irritating, pain free and cause no down time from skin shedding, redness or irritation. These unique treatments cause significant stimulation of the fibroblasts deep within the skin to produce new collagen and elastin. After only one session, skin will look fresher and clearer. A course of peels can be combined with microdermabrasion.
A thread lift is suited to men and women between the ages of 40 and 70.
The procedure is most effective on skin that has minimal sagging and offers the best results for cheeks, jowls, brows and the neck area. If you are looking for results that are more effective and long lasting than Botox and other fillers, then a thread lift is the ideal choice.
If you are put off by traditional surgery or don't want general anaesthetic, then a thread lift is great as it is minimally invasive and can be carried out under local anaesthetic.
